We were pleasantly surprised by the unexpectedly high demand for the Isle of Man coin covers that we offered in a recent brochure, and have combined two new British Royalty coin covers with two unusual Royalty covers, that all fit in with the Diamond Anniversary of the Queen’s Wedding later in the year. The first cover on the left - shows a super portrait of the Queen, and combines a full set of the 1977 set of 5 Silver Jubilee stamps, with a Silver Jubilee crown, and an unusual commemorative postmark. On the far right is another coin cover with a 1972 Anniversary Jubilee crown, and a set of the 1972 Golden Wedding stamps with the first class Gold stamp, postmarked with a special handstamp on the date of the 50th anniversary. The other two covers are a Westminster Abbey cover, venue of the wedding and a cover for the wedding of Prince Andrew, which reproduces the stamps for the weddings of the Queen and Duke’s other three children. All 4 covers just £19.95.

ITEM 2
This is the final offering of basic regional stamps prior to the introduction of elliptical perforations in 1993/4. These start with the 15p value, and run to those issued on 3rd December 1991. It’s a total of 36 stamps, and these are bound to be popular, judging by the response to the predecessors, so please avoid disappointment and delay by ordering early. We have continued to amass the earlier offers, and if you missed them then please see our previous lists.

It’s several months since our last offering of Europe pot pourri sets. Last time we offered countries A - F. This time it’s G to P. Content will be mainly recent sets from the last ten years or so, and consist of mainly mint stamps. there may be some minor used content. We don’t pad these out with cheap Eastern Europe sets. The stock is from a new issue service and content is pretty decent. We want you to come back for more, not head for the door. Our one country lost are always hugely popular. This is a ‘one and a bit’, predominantly Cyprus but with a few additional goodies on top. We like to offer these at half catalogue to ensure they’re attractively priced, but to do that we have to add a few issues from another British Mediterranean territory, namely Gibraltar, as we only have limited stocks of Cyprus available. What we offer is a catalogue of £40 for £19.95, or a catalogue of £80 for £39.90 post free. The sets illustrated are representative of what you will receive, but whilst there will be absolutely no duplication, there may be some sets illustrated that you don’t receive and some sets your receive that are not pictured!

Over the past few months we have offered 1d reds on piece with Scottish postmarks. These came from an amazing hoard, that included English postmarks, but rather fewer. As we have made up our Scottish lots, more and more of the English have surfaced, sufficient now to offer these as well. These are in pretty good condition overall having been cut from the original letters with great care by a 19th century philatelist (even if he was not a postal historian!). Last time around we offered a selection of Alderney issues which proved immensely popular. we’re now able to complement them with a selection of 6 different miniature sheets. You will no doubt appreciate that as it is a small island, and stamps were not issued before 1983, that there are few surpluses in circulation, and stocks of these are hard to come by. Many moons ago we offered the full set of Commonwealth Princess Diana Covers. Last month we offered banded Machin cylinder blocks. This time around we are back to the Litho issues, which we have been steadily accumulating for about the last year! These are a fantastic source of different cylinder numbers, and make for really interesting collections.
