ITEM 3 - Burma Revenues
Once sold this will not be repeated! These revenues listed in the Barefoot catalogue as BF 2/9 were issued during the Japanese occupation of Burma in WWII. They were available for a variety of revenue purposes and are very seldom offered. Due to the humidity these stamps were issued on un-gummed paper without watermark. The 5 lower values are rouletted and the top 3 values are imperforate, in all cases they were printed in sheets of 64 values. Barefoot catalogues these 8 stamps at £365 and usually prices in Barefoot represent 'retail'. A very fortuitous purchase enables us to offer these rare revenue stamps as '8 selections' for £145. ITEM 4 - George V
This is a George V offer from Great Britain and comprises the final definitive issue of the reign in both mint and used condition. Unlike the previous two issues, the stamps have a darker shading behind the King’s head and are the 1934 Photogravure issue so called as that was the printing method used to produce them. We offer a complete mounted mint set of 11 stamps SG439 / 449 together with the same set in good used condition a total of 22 stamps in all.
