ITEM 1
We begin with Window Booklets. These were introduced on August 4th 1987, so it’s their 20th Anniversary Five were issued with 13p, 18p and 26p denominations, and they superseded the folder style booklets which had been in vogue for the previous ten years or so. The 26p booklet is the only source of the 26p narrow value tablet. You will find them all in the Concise catalogue. We are offering the set of 5 for £19.95.

ITEM 4
This offer is going to be a best seller. It contains unmounted mint stamps of South West Africa from the reigns of King George V and King George VI only, in the correct ‘units’ as issued. For those unfamiliar with South Africa, stamps issued in this period were done so bilingually in both English and Afrikaans. With one or two exceptions, their stamps were commonly inscribed ‘South Africa’ and ‘Suid Afrika’ alternately throughout the sheets. The stamps of South West Africa were often those of South Africa overprinted S.W.A. or inscribed ‘South West Africa’ / ‘Suidwes Afrika’ Thus the way to collect these is in horizontal pairs being an example of each language attached to each other, this is the normal ‘unit’. Examples in vertical pairs or separated attract a significantly reduced catalogue value. The pictures show examples of the type of thing on offer and this lot will consist of both stamps and postage dues. Once sold this offer cannot be repeated. £40 catalogue value of unmounted mint stamps of South West Africa of the King George V / VI period for £19.95, while stocks last we can offer a double lot £80 cat value for £39.90 post free or a treble lot of £120 catalogue value for £57.50 post free. Larger lots are ‘all different. SORRY, SOLD OUT

ITEM 5
Our first mini-collection this time around is from the Bahamas. The illustrations give a flavour of what to expect for your £19.95. You will receive a catalogue value of £45 of unmounted mint sets - all completely different of course - or if you want to double up and save the postage on them, £39.90 post free will give a not so mini collection of £90 catalogue value!

ITEM 6
Penny Reds and indeed many other stamps of the GB Victorian era, present an interesting challenge. As the corner check letters indicate sheet positions, the stamps can be rearranged to represent their original sheets of 240 stamps, starting with AA and then running across to letter L, and down to letter T. This of course provides a complete ‘reconstruction’ of a sheet of 240 stamps. Penny Red stars between SG 37 to 42 represent one of the most cost effective ways of enjoying this reconstruction exercise as examples are relatively inexpensive. The minimum catalogue value is £10 a stamp, but we will supply 30 stamps (catalogue value £300) for just £19.95. Condition will be generally sound and of course there will be postmark variety. We cannot guarantee no duplication of corner check letters but that is part of the fun when purchasing unsorted lots. 30 penny Red ‘stars’ for £19.95 or a double lot 60 stamps for £39.90 post free, treble lot 90 stamps for £57.50 post free or a bumper quadruple lot with 120 stamps for £75 post free.

ITEM 7
Here’s a chance to start a collection of Cuban stamps. We purchased a most unusual lot about 2 years ago, and it has lain buried throughout that time. It consists mainly of stamps from the 1970s. There’s tremendous diversity of sets, which enables us to offer up to three completely different lots of unmounted mint sets. This was a good purchase and we are passing on the bounty, by including £50 of catalogue for your £19.95. That’s under 40% of catalogue, with yet further reductions if you take advantage of the discount structure. £50 cat of unmounted Cuba for £19.95 plus £1pp, £39.90 for two lots post free, or 3 lots for £57.50 post free.

Princess Diana remains ever topical and this is a poignant time to offer the following sets. The original face value of these sets is very high indeed and at this price they are an absolute bargain. 8 different Princess Diana sheetlets for £19.95 plus £1pp.

ITEM 9
Now this is slightly complicated, but it’s definitely an offer to grab. This is a mixed starter lot of British Antarctic Territories and Falklands, consistently two of the most popular countries from within the Commonwealth. These stamps in other dealer’s price lists are likely to be offered at up to three quarters of catalogue, but our special offer formula enables us to do a mixed lot of these territories at just about half catalogue; lots will include £40 catalogue, as near as makes no difference. The caveat is necessary as the stamps illustrated are only some of those which we will include. We do not have sufficient of these lots to guarantee the inclusion of the stamps illustrated but they are wholly representative of the quality, on offer. This will fly, and early ordering/reservation is highly recommended. Falklands and BAT mixed lot for £19.95 plus £1pp.
