This is an opportunity, to economically start or expand a collection of Birds on stamps, at a very favourable percentage of catalogue. ITEM 4 - Germany
This offer is German Third Reich Official stamps. We offer a complete set of twelve stamps being the 1942 No watermark officials in fine used condition. The SG Numbers are O809/O820 and these are catalogued by Stanley Gibbons at £140. The German ‘Michel’ catalogue prices the set at 550 euros, which is an even greater price. We've combined the GB stock from our two shops, and the amalgamation has enabled us to present an offer of pre-decimal regional First Day Covers. This is based on quantity and quality. Content will vary ever so slightly from those illustrated as we dont have vast quantities of any of them, but the selection will include a guaranteed catalogue value of just under £60, with 16 different covers. ITEM 7 - Japan
Ryukyu is a chain of Japanese Islands in the Western pacific Ocean, at the eastern limit of the East China Sea. Citizens are renowned for their longevity. We can’t guarantee that collecting their stamps will have the same effect, but it will provide considerable pleasure as their stamps are diverse, inexpensive and colourful. Illustrations are representative of what you can expect but stamps will vary. Ryukyu issue lots of single stamps, so you get a lot for your money. We are even able to offer them in blocks of 4. It could well be over five years that 4 small boxes have stood on the top shelf of a unit in our office. Having smothered myself in dust from examining the contents, it would be remiss of me not to describe them to you. They contain a series of Silk postcards that Benham produced in the 80s to complement GB commemorative. There is a postcard for each stamp in the set, specially cancelled, and they are really very attractive.
