Dear Client,

We have been searching and accumulating and think that the batch of flyers that we are sending out over the next few weeks are really some of our best yet.

We are keeping the letters brief this month as the request which we are making is the primary message.

Many of you have access to email. We are constantly frustrated when we have only small stocks of items suitable for these special offers by finding ourselves caught between two stools. Not enough stock to justify an offer on its own, and no suitable way of offering say 10 of a stamp when there is no hope of accumulating more. We think we have the answer.

We propose to send out weekly emails of items that fall into this frustrating shortage. We can only do this if we have your email address. Just email your name (and your postal address if you wish to receive our postal flyers!) to;

ITEM 3
It’s well over a year since we were last able to offer this selection and we have been steadily re-accumulating commemorative traffic light gutter pairs, with the hope that the time would come when we had enough re-offer this feature. If you are not familiar with them, they were positional blocks that appeared on commemorative stamps from about 1972 -1979. The early ones went sky high in value, and created quite a stir in the late 70s. They were eventually discontinued by the printers, such was the pandemonium at Post Offices on the day of a new issue! This offer will furnish your collection with 8 different sets. Some of the ones pictured will very probably be included, but we cant guarantee specific sets. WE WILL HOWEVER INCLUDE A PRICE LIST OF THE FULL SET OF TRAFFIC LIGHT GUTTERS WITH ALL ORDERS TO GIVE YOU THE CHANCE TO BUILD UPON WHAT YOU RECEIVE. 8 different traffic light gutter pairs for just £19.95.

Edward VII – DLR Chalky values. The original basic stamps of Edward VII reign were printed by De La Rue. After some time for a variety of reasons it was decided to experiment with printing these stamps on chalk surfaced paper. Whilst three different printers were used throughout the reign, with the exception of the 6d value, it was only De La Rue who printed stamps on chalky paper. This offer comprises one example of each of the low values to 1/- printed by De la Rue on chalky paper. The catalogue numbers fall in the range SG223 to SG 259. The cheapest chalky paper shades catalogue £277. This unit costs 2 selections and represents excellent value for money. 9 stamps, a basic De La Rue chalky paper set to 1/- for £39.90.

ITEM 9
This offer provides a further opportunity to collect a splendid series of covers issued to commemorate the First World War. We have previously offered covers 1 to24, which remain available, and now offer covers 25-28, as a new £19.95 item, or29-32 as a double item with 8 covers included post free. The covers tell the story of the war through philatelic eyes, with a variety of postmarks and cachets, and approximately half the covers bear relevant signatures too. The covers have all been flown, and fittingly the majority feature illustrations of the pioneer RAF days within the copious varieties of imagery that adorn these fascinating items. We have no hesitation in recommending them generally but in particular to those whose collections feature British and World history. WW1 covers 25-28 inclusive for £19.95 plus £1pp, or WW1 covers 29/32 for £39.90 post free, or for those who missed the previous offers, covers 1 - 32 inclusive for £147.50 post free. Please enter a quantity of '1', '2' or '8' for these offers.
