Greetings stamps were introduced in 1989, in a folded booklet containing 2 strips of 5 stamps, as seen on the left. In 1990, Royal Mail followed these up with a booklet containing ten 20 pence stamps, that have since become known as Smilers stamps. ITEM 2 - Australian Commemoratives
This offer is limited to the first 25 people only. It comprises 200 fine used Australian stamps, virtually all are commemorative issues and only includes stamps from the period SINCE 2000. These stamps are becoming increasingly difficult to source as in recent years all mail sent outside of Australia must use the stamps marked 'International POST' in blue, a few of which are included here. As a result Australian commemoratives are very difficult to find in the UK. This is going to fly. We have been slowly accumulating Falklands, South Georgia & British Antarctic Territory sets for a mini collection based on Catalogue value. All stamps are unmounted mint and guaranteed different. This is a most unusual opportunity to add 4 different USED 1950's George 6th, Tudor and Edward Watermark Wilding Booklet panes to your collection. These come from an old time stock - they were accumulated by one of our staff members at the time! We won't disclose the age on the Birthday card we sent him last month!
