Dear Client,

We have been searching and accumulating and think that the batch of flyers that we are sending out over the next few weeks are really some of our best yet.

We are keeping the letters brief this month as the request which we are making is the primary message.

Many of you have access to email. We are constantly frustrated when we have only small stocks of items suitable for these special offers by finding ourselves caught between two stools. Not enough stock to justify an offer on its own, and no suitable way of offering say 10 of a stamp when there is no hope of accumulating more. We think we have the answer.

We propose to send out weekly emails of items that fall into this frustrating shortage. We can only do this if we have your email address. Just email your name (and your postal address if you wish to receive our postal flyers!) to;

ITEM 4
Several months ago we offered a mini collection of 500 different used Channel Islands and Isle of Man stamps as a double offer. As predicted we sold out completely in days, but contrary to what we supposed, we did unexpectedly manage to source some more. These will have some overlap with the previous assortment, but there will be some new content as well. There are another 40 lots for those quick on the draw. This is a superb lot and we strongly recommend early ordering; it took 3 months to get this new batch together and if you miss out, it will probably be much more than 3 months before we can begin to consider offering it again. 500 different Channel Islands and Isle of Man stamps for £39.90.

ITEM 5
In a similar vein to the item immediately above, we have sourced 500 different USA stamps which are on offer as a double lot for £39.90 post free. These are a mix of commemoratives and definitives, and provide a fine way to start a collection of these issues. We have managed to source 2 completely different lots each consisting of 500 stamps, so if you really want to go in at the deep end, you can start your collection with a mammoth 1000 stamps for just £75 post free. Hours - nay days - maybe weeks - of fun.
Add a quantity of '2' for 500, '4' for 1000.

ITEM 6
This offer is for the 1d Green Mountain George VI stamp from Ascension numbered SG39 which catalogues at £45. This is a generally elusive stamp and commonly missing from the complete set of 16 values. There were actually three 1d values in this set and this key stamp was simply not in use very long before it was withdrawn and replaced firstly by a different coloured stamp and then one with a different design. Stamps from the reign of George VI are in strong demand, better values even more so and they sell for good prices. We offer SG39 of Ascension in perfect unmounted mint condition at less than half catalogue price for this key value at £19.95. We have illustrated the stamp you will receive and the normal variation (catalogued 60p) which will be supplied for comparison. If you feel like splashing out then we can offer a ‘marginal’ block of four at £75 maximising the discount ladder (very few available so order early if you want this). The block of four will be supplied with a single of the basic stamp for comparison, not a block of four. Ascension SG39 for £19.95 or marginal block of four £75.
Add a quantity of 4 to the basket for the marginal block.

ITEM 7
World Wildlife Stamps have long been a hugely popular collecting field. The stamps are carefully considered and the Fund enjoys the support of many renowned artists and designers who back their worthy cause. All stamps show the official Logo, and these make hugely attractive additions to any collection for those who appreciate nature’s staggering diversity. This selection consists of 20 different covers from 17 different countries. Three or four covers although bearing completely different illustrations may bear the same stamp, but 17 covers are completely different in respect of stamp and cover. We have only shown 12 as had we tried to cram in too many, the pictures would not have done justice to the stunning illustrations on the covers. Each stamp is postmarked with an elaborate special cancellation, and we have no hesitation in recommending this desirable lot. 20 Different WWF covers for £19.95.

ITEM 8
Penny red plate numbers are back in stock. This offer is a cracker. Penny red plates are a fascinating field of collecting. Most GB printed albums have a space for the whole set, and whilst we can all dream of finding a plate 77, it’s the huge variety of the others that make these such fun. It sometimes requires a fair bit of detective work to identify a plate correctly. The postmark that obscures the numbers printed down the side of the stamp, on the left but not the right or vice versa, can make it an interesting challenge! We have bought a huge assorted stock of sound used examples. These catalogue a minimum of £2 each, and are largely unsorted. They have been checked for a few of the really scarce numbers, but you can be confident of finding a really good variety and the average catalogue value should be well over the minimum. We genuinely do not have the time or inclination to sift through them to sell one or two at the full price when by offering them like this we will shift thousands in one go, at a bargain price. Whilst statistically we cannot guarantee there will be no duplication, it is unlikely to be a major issue, and we forecast a very high interest level in this offer. We will supply you 20 different 1d red plate numbers for £19.95 plus £1 pp, or 40 for £39.90 post free, 60 for £57.50 post free or 80 for £75 post free.
Please add quantities of '1', '2', '3' or '4' respectively.

ITEM 9
And finally another batch of our hugely popular World War covers to take your collection one stage further to completion, or to begin it if you like the look of what’s on offer and don't mind catching up in one swoop. The next cover sin this fascinating historical series are numbers 33 to 40 inclusive. The covers tell the story of the war through philatelic eyes, with a variety of postmarks and cachets, and approximately half the covers bear relevant signatures too. The covers have all been flown, and fittingly the majority feature illustrations of the pioneer RAF days within the copious varieties of imagery that adorn these fascinating items. We have no hesitation in recommending them generally but in particular to those whose collections feature British and World history. If you would like to order these new covers, they are available at £19.95 plus £1pp for the group 33/36, and £39.90 for the eight post free. If you would like to order all 40 so far offered, then we will discount the package to just £179.50 post free.
Add a quantity of 10 to the basket for the 40 cover offer.
