ITEM 1 - GB 'Locals'
This time around we are starting with a fascinating collection of British locals. This is one of the most unusual areas of British philately in our broad stock. Many small islands issue 'Local' stamps to pay for carriage to the nearest mainland; other islands issue them to raise revenues, or support conservation. Lundy and Herm are the most popular collecting areas, and they are represented in this unit which additionally includes The Summer Islands (Scotland), Bardsey (Wales), The Calf of Man, Jethou & Brechou (Ch. Islands) and a set of round stamps from Davaar (Scotland). We also have a list of available items for the established collector in pursuit of more obscure items. We offer a basic lot of 39 different stamps, plus a cover and miniature sheet as a single lot for £19.95 + £1pp, or a double lot with a total of 80 stamps plus cover and sheet for £39.90 postfree. Simply add a quantity of '2' for the double offer.

ITEM 2 - Machins
This offer comprises two peculiar varieties on the 50p Machin. You will receive two blocks of 4. Both show a marked example of the perforator misperforming. Every perforation hole shows a heavy remnant of the paper where it should of course be completely perforated. The second block is not only confetti filled ( we couldn’t think of a better description), but is additionally misperforated by about 2 millimetres vertically. This is a double offer available at £39.90 postfree.

ITEM 3 - Transport
Last month you bit our hands off for the Ian Lavender signed Army Uniform cover and Military Uniforms stamp packet. We can still offer that (see flyer KK) and thought we'd continue the theme with another favourite actor from that Golden era of British humour. Stephen Lewis, aka Blakey from On The Buses pictured, signed our Limited Edition First Day Cover from the Buses 2001 set and we've combined that with a mini collection of 100 different Transport themed stamps for £19.95 + £1pp.

ITEM 6 - Machins
Illustrated are the 1958, 2d Crowns watermark inverted - SG573 wi, and the 1958 2 1/2d graphite with watermark inverted. These 2 key Wilding stamps would set you back £100 plus with full perforations (they catalogue over £200), but this is a chance to snap them up for a snip! These stamps were only issued in booklets and what we are offering are stamps with trimmed perforations for a highly trimmed price. Both stamps are yours for just £19.95 + £1pp.

ITEM 7 - Booklets
We recently produced an offer of pre-decimal Machin illustrated cover stitched booklets which proved immensely popular. This seemed the logical follow up, as the booklets issued prior to 1971 were continued in a similar fashion after decimalisation. This is a super starter lot of 20 different with a catalogue value of over £80 and features a selection of 10p Pillar Boxes, and Postal Uniforms, 25p Mailcoaches, 30p Birds, 35p Coins, and 50p Flowers, all for just £39.90. Those illustrated are perfectly representative of what to expect, but content will vary slightly. 20 different decimal stiched booklets £39.90 postfree.

ITEM 8 - Gibraltar
In 2006, Gibraltar Post Office took the unusual step of issuing a Limited Edition 'publication' to mark the Queen's 80th birthday. This is a fairly elaborately printed booklet with examples of the sheets and minisheets issued to mark the occasion. There were only 1000 produced and they are each individually numbered in the front. Limited Editions produced by Postal Administrations are something of a rarity, as they rather go against the spirit of an item being available to all collectors that Postal Administrations tend towards. And there are a lot more than 1000 Collectors of Gibraltar! So its very probable that this unusual item passed you by. We have 40 of them and don't expect them to last very long! It’s available as a double item for £39.90 postfree.

ITEM 9 - Prestige Booklets
And finally, here's a chance to acquire representations of both the first British Prestige Booklets. The Book for Cooks in 1969 with its suggested recipes was the very first example of this type of premium booklet, and you'll receive a copy of this 'with perfs as they come. In 1972, Wedgwood were celebrated in the first decimal example of a Prestige Book, and you'll receive the First Day Cover you see illustrated. This has the Barleston Special Postmark, on extracts from each of the se-tenant panes including the key 1/2p Left Band which catalogues £30 in used condition - and most of the best examples come from these panes!
Both items just £19.95 + £1pp.
