It’s the Channel Islands again, but this time Guernsey. This is a lovely selection, starting with the 1981 Butterflies, and running through to he 1983 Shipping set. This should sell out. If you are in two minds about whether it’s for you, all we can say is that if you could see the full content, you might just rip our arms off for them. It comprises 21 First Day Covers from the Netherlands. That is under £1 each. The covers appear to be mainly from the late 70s and early 80s and are all in immaculate condition. There are sufficient for us to offer two different lots, making a total of 42 covers, and of course that saves you your P & P as well. This is our very first offering of these highly popular coin covers, with a little extra! They really do provide the best of several - not just both - worlds. The Isle of Man issued this stunning pair of covers in 2001 to mark Arthur C Clarke’s ‘A Space Odyssey’. Each covers carries a £3 miniature sheet issued for the Millennium issue postmarked in silver. One cover contains a pristine Gibraltar Crown, the other an isle of Man Crown featuring the Space Shuttle. To complete the offer we have added a starter packet of 100 Space stamps. There are only 52 of these available. We cant help feel that this could break last month’s early sell out record - though item 9 might be in the same category!

The Queen’s birthdays have always been a rich source of inspiration for stamp issues. This stunning pair of coin covers the Queen’s 75th Birthday philatelic and numismatic tribute from Gibraltar. The illustration on the left is froma water colour of the Queen as a young girl with her sister Margaret. On the right is a more recent photographic reproduction. The left hand cover contains a pristine Celebratory 50p coin from theFalklands commemorating the 75th Birthday, and the cover on the right contains a similar item from Tristan da Cunha. Sat in the middle is a First Day Cover for the Queen’s 80th showing the Queen inspecting the troops, which complements the other two items superbly.
