£19.95 The Best of - Part III - Summer 2008

Dear Collector,

We have entitled this Summer 2008, which is a bold forecast given that this goes to the printers in early May with rain falling steadily! Best of The Rests have been a very popular initiative. They provide regular customers who missed an offer first time around with a second bite at the cherry, and new customers are seeing a brand new set of offers. A feature of the Best of The Rest is that they are usually only available in limited quantities so early ordering is advised.

Happy hunting, The Stamp Centre.

ITEM 3
Next up is a very unusual offer and one that once sold we absolutely cannot repeat! What we have are the 10 milliemes and 20 milliemes postage dues of Sudan and is strictly limited to the first 60 customers. The design of Sudan postage dues has not changed since their earliest issues, but these are the rare 1980 reissue but on a completely different ‘Sudan Arms’ watermarked paper. Stanley Gibbons have not seriously re-priced or listed the issues of Sudan since the early 1980’s simply because they do not fall into any of the various sectional catalogues produced since that time. Rest assured when they do the scarcity of this pair will be revealed. The European produced ‘Michel’ catalogues these as numbers 16 and 17 and prices them at 150 euros each, 300 euros in total, which equates to in excess of £200! These stamps are genuinely difficult and these are the first ones we have been able to buy, not only that bearing in mind the humidity of the Sudan, they are in perfect unmounted mint condition. Our price is £39.90 post free the pair under 20% of the catalogue value. If you really want something exceptional then we can supply blocks of four at £145.

Our mini Commonwealth collection this time around is one of the strongest we have been able to propose. We recently purchased an astonishing stock of New Zealand. It’s mainly commemoratives, with a smattering of the popular Health miniature sheets, and there may be some definitives. There is a sufficient diversity to offer two different lots. Shop at £19.95 plus £1p&p, and you’ll receive £40 catalogue, or let us pay your postage, and receive a double lot of £80 catalogue value, for £39.90 post free, which for a country as popular as New Zealand is a snip at the price. Satisfaction absolutely guaranteed. Just enter a quantity or 1 or 2 to the cart.

ITEM 10
World Wildlife Stamps have long been a hugely popular collecting field. The stamps are carefully considered and the Fund enjoys the support of many renowned artists and designers who back their worthy cause. All stamps show the official Logo, and these make hugely attractive additions to any collection for those who appreciate nature’s staggering diversity. This selection consists of 20 different covers from 17 different countries. Three or four covers although bearing completely different illustrations may bear the same stamp, but 17 covers are completely different in respect of stamp and cover. We have only shown 12 as had we tried to cram in too many, the pictures would not have done justice to the stunning illustrations on the covers. Each stamp is postmarked with an elaborate special cancellation, and we have no hesitation in recommending this desirable lot. 20 Different WWF covers for £19.95.
