FDC Trading Bid Information

How to take part in our FDC Trading Catalogue. It couldn't be easier!

Bids are welcome on any item listed, but to improve your chances of purchasing, bid on as many items as you want without exceeding your spending limit. Please feel free to bid on whatever you want, but identify your spending limit on the bid form.

Once your limit has been reached from successful bids, no more bids will be considered and so will prevent embarrassment from over-zealous spending!

****Reserve Value on any lots is 80% of the estimate*****
Bids lower than the reserve value are unlikely to be entered.

Bidding steps are as follows:
Up to £40 estimate - £2.00      £41 to £80 estimate - £3.00
£81 to £100 estimate - £4.00                £101+ estimate - £5.00

All bids must be received by the deadline identified as the closing date.
Any bids outside of that time and date will not be entered into the auction.

Bids can be made here, securely online, a new window with the form will open once 'clicked.
Bids can be made by FAX, however, please ensure that you write your bid details CLEARLY. We will not be held responsible for any errors through poor or unclear bid forms.
In the event of two identical bids being received, the earlier bid will take priority.

Under not circumstances will details of any bid received be disclosed. All bids are confidential, as you would expect from any reputable auction.

We reserve the right to withdraw any lot up to and including the auction deadline.

Payment for bids can be made by Cash, Cheque, and ANY Credit/Debit Card (excluding Diners Card)
All lots are sold subject to the satisfaction of the purchaser.

Placing of bids indicates acceptance of the conditions set for these auctions .

Viewing of lots can be arranged at The Stamp Centre up to and on the day of the auction up to the closing deadline listed.

P & P Charges:
£0 to £50 Value = Ordinary post @ £1
£51 to £95 Value = Recorded delivery @ £2
£96 & Over = Special Delivery @ £5
Any Overseas = £5

There is NO Buyers Premium - NO VAT & NO Credit Card Surcharges in our auctions.

Please avoid phoning for the results the day after the sale, as we are very busy as you can imagine.
Lots won (under normal circumstances) will be dispatched within a few days. Sometimes, however, circumstances may cause the dispatch to be delayed - if this occurs, please bear with us and be assured that your lots will be sent as soon as possible.
